Somit ergibt sich für das ganze letzte Jahr beim Bruttoinlandsprodukt ein Plus von nur 0,7 Prozent. Für dieses Jahr sagt das Office of the National Economic and Social Development Board (NESDB) eine Steigerung von 3,5 bis 4,5 Prozent voraus. Das NESDB hofft auf eine leichte Zunahme der Exporte und des privaten Konsums.
